Who is D’Anna C. Howard?

D’Anna C. Howard is a proud Atlantan, mother of four, and tireless disability-rights storyteller. Diagnosed with breast cancer at 23 and now navigating metastatic disease, she has turned every barrier into a platform for hope. Her courage, generosity, and vision for a future nonprofit shelter inspire this Legacy Award, reminding every applicant that lived expertise can spark lasting change.
