Humanity Consideration Consultants Hosts Event to Honor 34th Anniversary of the ADA

The 34th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a major milestone in our ongoing quest for equality and accessibility. To commemorate this pivotal occasion, Humanity Consideration Consultants organized a gathering that united advocates, individuals with disabilities, and allies from all backgrounds. This event celebrated the significant progress made under the ADA while also addressing the pressing challenges that remain, encouraging continued actions to promote inclusion in our society.

The day kicked off with a powerful opening address highlighting how the ADA has transformed accessibility across the United States. Attendees reflected on the considerable strides made since its enactment in 1990. For instance, before the ADA, only about 10% of public places were accessible. Today, that number has increased significantly, though gaps remain. Speakers and participants expressed hope for the future, emphasizing the importance of staying vigilant in the fight for equal rights and opportunities for everyone.
